Woodbridge is a large, active community in the heart of Irvine. Centered around two lakes, this neighborhood features 22 pools, 15 parks, 24 tennis courts, numerous basketball courts, volleyball courts, bikeways, pathways, playgrounds and, ultimately, a great sense of community. Both the North Lake and South Lake beach clubs have their own lagoons, or sand-edged fresh water swimming pools that empty into the lakes. Canoes, paddleboats, sailboats and hydro-bikes are also available to rent and use on the lakes. This community is built around events such as the Woodbridge 4th of July Celebration – a day that kicks off with a 5K/10K run and a shorter children’s run, which are followed by a parade, a bbq and a firework show to end the holiday celebration right. Woodbridge Village also holds concerts in the park in addition to the concerts already set up by the City of Irvine. With all there is to do in Woodbridge, it is hard not to jump in and fall in love with the place.
